So, my lack of energy and creativity (and motivation) to research recipes this morning has come to a head – I am fighting sickness today as the weather here in Toronto has dropped significantly and the cold cooties have hit my family. After a visit to the walk-in and a prescription of some high-does antibiotics, I am refocussing on what matters to get my body back to health.
Getting sick sucks; especially when you have two kids that don’t stop, a business that needs to keep going and dinners that need to be eaten. With that, I have refocussed and thought starting from basics is best.
This week’s recipe of the scale is simple – water. I used to be proud at the number of trips to the commode I would take as a direct result of the amount of water I would consume. Now? I might be lucky if I get in two glasses.
